Senator Mackie moved that the Senate adopt the House Letter of Intent. Without objection, the Legislative Letter of Intent was adopted. Senator Mackie moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. The question being: Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment? The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 141(RLS) Shall the Senate Concur in the House Amendment to CSSB 141(L&C)? Effective Date YEAS: 15 NAYS: 4 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Donley, Green, Halford, Kelly Pete, Kelly Tim, Leman, Lincoln, Mackie, Parnell, Pearce, Phillips, Taylor, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Nays: Adams, Ellis, Elton, Hoffman Excused: Miller and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 141(RLS) An Act relating to construction contracts and subcontractors; relating to design-build construction contracts; and providing for an effective date. 1999-05-10 Senate Journal Page 1354 SB 141 Senator Mackie moved and asked unanimous consent that the vote on the passage of the bill be considered the vote on the effective date clause. Without objection, it was so ordered. The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
